
A lover of music and an experimenter from a young stage, Long Island, New York's Madison Elle Beer started posting videos of her singing covers of various well-known songs as 13-year-olds in 2012. Justin Bieber, a pop idol, found her rendition of Etta's "At Last" within a couple of months, and shared the song with his more than 25 million fans on Twitter. Following the media attention the singer signed a record agreement with Island Records and was also given a contract as a manager with Bieber's manger. The same year, Beer was also cast in a small part in the independent film Louder Than Words, which featured David Duchovny and made its film festival premiere late in 2013. Her first single, the poppy, melismatic "Melodies," also saw its release later in the year.Beer's vocals started appearing on the songs of other artists, including Cody Simpson's "Valentine" and the 2015 club track "I Willn't Let You Walk Away" by Mako. She released her solo debut EP"As She Wants," in the year 2018. The track "Home with You" landed in the Top 30 in Norway, and the EP climbed to the top half of the Billboard 200. In the same year, Beer released the non-album single "Hurts Like Hell" featuring Offset.
